The Chairman of the International Cricket Council Mr. Shashank Manohar, his wife and the Deputy Chairman of the ICC Mr. Imran Khawaja met with his excellency the President Maithripala Sirisena during yesterday. (23RD August, 2019).
They were accompanied by Mr. Shammi Silva, President of Sri Lanka Cricket, Hon. Thilanga Sumathipala, Immediate Past President of Sri Lanka Cricket and Mrs. Sumathipala and Mr. Mohan De Silva, Honorary Secretary of Sri Lanka Cricket and his wife.
Mr. Priyantha De Soyza, an Executive Committee Member of the Sri Lanka Cricket were also present at the meeting.
During the meeting, His Excellency the President handed over the latest Annual Report of the Sri Lanka Cricket to the ICC Chairman Mr. Shashank Manohar.
The meeting centered around cordial discussions on developing the game of cricket in Sri Lanka.
