Daniel 2/10 as Bangladesh Emerging Team make 57/3 In rain marred second Test

In a rain marred second unofficial test match on which only 23 overs were bowled, Bangladesh Emerging Team was on 57 for 3 wickets in their first innings on the second day at the Shiekh Kamal International Cricket Stadium, Cox’s Bazar Stadium yesterday.

The Bangladeshis hit trouble with Shiraz Mohamed dismissing Saif Hassan caught by Nishan Peiris for 4 reducing the hosts to 6 for 1. Then Jehan Daniel stepped in to clean up two more quick wickets in quick succession reducing the opposition to 3 for 21. He clean bowled Aminul Islam for 9 and had Yasir Ali caught by Bhanuka for 10. It brought the inform Bangladesh skipper Najmul Hossain Shanto to the wicket to revive the innings making 26 off 65 balls hitting 5 boundaries. With him was Asif Hossain on 16 off 23 balls inclusiveof 2 boundaries.
