The Jaffna Stallions versus Dambulla Vikings D/N LPL match was called off with both teams awarded a point each after bad weather did not permit any further play after only seven overs with Dambulla Vikings on 42 for 3 wickets with Niroshan Dickwella unbeaten on 28 off 21 at the Mahinda Rajapaksa International Stadium..

The Vikings were put into bat after the Stallions skipper Thisara Perera won the toss and opted to field. The wickets to fall were that of Sadeera Samarawickrema (3), Angelo Perera (6) and Samit Patel (1).

Both sides are already through to the semi-finals of the historic Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) organised LPL. The Stallions lead the points table.
