Sri Lanka A faced a first innings deficit of 183 after Pakistan A had declared their first innings on 324 for 2 wickets fronted by a superb 118 off 223 balls by skipper Saud Shakeel who struck 13 boundaries before retiring hurt. Omair Yousuf made 93 off 250 balls containing 11 boundaries with the second wicket pair adding 206 runs. Kamran Ghulam was unbeaten on 58 off `118 inclusive of 7 hits to the ropes, and U. Salahuddin on 20.
The Lankans second innings fight back was mounted by opening batsman Kamil Mishara who made 98 off 97 hitting 19 boundaries.
