SL Emerging and Hampshire settle for a draw

The Sri Lanka Emerging Squad versus Hammpshire four-day match ended in a draw at Southampton’s Rose Bowl on Monday.

The game marred by rain saw Hampshire declare their first innings on the overnight score of 252 for 5 wickets in reply to the Developmment Squad’s 281.

In the second essay, the SL Development squad made 107 for 3 off 28 overs with Lasith Croospulle top scoring with 4e3 off 52 balls inclusive of 3 boundaries and a six. Nishan Madushka mmade 29 while Nuwanidu Fernando was unbeaten on 14 and Dhananjaya Lakshan on 10.
