Australia pulled off a 108-run win over Sri Lanka in a Group A match of the Women’s Under-19 World Cup 2023 played at the Willowmoore Park in Benoni, South Africa today. Batting first the Australian lasses ran up 159 for 5 wickets and dismissed the Lankan lasses for just 51 runs with Lucy Hamilton taking 2 wickets for no runs off a solitary over while Maggie Clark took 2 for 8 operating with the new ball in making inroads into the Lankan batting. Australia’s innings did not produce any big scorers with Ella Hayward top scoring with 36. Rismi Sanjana took 2 for 30 for the Lankans.
