The duo put on146 runs for the third wicket while Ahan Wickramasinghe was also on song striking an unbeaten 99 and looking well set for a century. Colombo taking first lease on the opening day totalled 214 with Kandy’s Lasith Embuldeniya reaping fine figures of 5 for 60.
