Career best knocks by Jaffna’s Lahiru Madushanka 194, and Dambulla’s Minod Bhanuka 186 n.o.

Both fixtures of the Sri Lanka Cricket National Super League 2023 Tournament between Jaffna and Galle, and Dambulla and Colombo ended in tame draws. Jaffna’s Lahiru Madushanka stole the honours going on to stroke 194 in continuing from an overnight 178 in a mammoth total of 584 for 9 declared on the final day at the Galle International Cricket Stadium Sunday.. Galle were 50 for 3 facing 14.2 overs in the scenario of a 558 target. Meanwhile, Dambulla’s skipper Minod Bhanuka moved to an unbeaten career best unbeaten 186 off 286 balls powered by 19 boundaries and 3 sixes in a second innings total of 401. Colombo were 110 for 3 facing a 486 target in the impossibility of 32′ overs.
