Pakistan moved from 145 for 2 wickets on the second day to 178 for 2 as the rains wrought havoc with play called off after only ten overs were bowled.

Abdullah Shafique remained unbeaten on 84 and Babar Azam on 28.

The umpires called off play after several inspections.
