Sri Lanka A, electing to bat first on winning the toss, got off to a good star with skipper Pasindu Sooriyabandara won the toss and chose to bat first and openers Lahiru Udara 65 off 67 balls with 11 fours and Oshada Fernando 32) posted 84 for the first wicket.
Sonal Dinusha, the former Mahanama College all-rounder struck 13 fours in sharing in a sixth-wicket partnership of 115 runs for the sixth wicket together with wicket keeper Vishad Randika who made 63 hitting 11 boundaries.
