England Lions swept to a 7-wicket win over Sri Lanka on the fourth and final morning.
Rob Yates led the victory charge with an unbeaten 57 off 68 balls as it took the Lions just 19,5 overs to seal it in clearing the final hurdle of 75 runs when play resumed.
Yates and England U19 product James Rew 23 off 41 took it home on an unfinished 53-run bonding for the fourth wicket.
Sri Lankan captain Dhananjaya de Silva and Milan Rathnayake claimed 2 and 1 wicket a piece respectively.
The Lankans will now gear up for the big fronting when they battle England in the first of the 3-test series starting on August 21 Wednesday at Old Trafford in Manchester.
