Sri Lanka Cricket was conferred with the title of ‘Sri Lanka Best Employer Brand Awards 2024’ by the World HRD Congress.

The recognition was offered to Sri Lanka Cricket by World HRD, taking into consideration the focus Sri Lanka Cricket paid on translating and combining vision with action with HR strategy, building lines to mesh HR strategy in view of business transformation, cultivating competencies for the future to enable building the organization to be future-ready, talent management, talent development, and recruitment strategies.

Apart from it, employee engagement. Benefits & Recognition, Diversity & Inclusion, Women Empowerment, Promoting & Managing Health at Workplace, and CSR Initiatives are also among the criteria looked at.

“Our vision is to proactively provide strategic support and guidance to our employees, organization, and the community we serve,” Major Tanesh B. Dias, Senior Manager, Human Resources of Sri Lanka Cricket, said, following the recognition.

The award was accepted by Mr. Aruna De Silva, Head of Administration of Sri Lanka Cricket, and Mr. Chandima Mapatuna, Head of International Cricket of Sri Lanka, during a ceremony held recently at the Taj Samudra, Colombo.
