Sri Lanka Cricket’s milestone shortest fad Lanka T10 Super League extravaganza, historic for the country in another giant leap fast forwarding of such a novel concept to driving local talent in a mix with international players took off on a solemn note with the six franchise team walking out to assembling with match officials with the mega trophy nestling on the branded mat was a spot on feature this afternoon at 3.48 p.m. at the Pallekelle International Cricket Stadium arena.
The one unison official walkouts took center stage in the order of SLC President Shammi Silva, the Chief Executive Officer Ashley de Silva, Tournament Director Lanka T10 Super League Samantha Dodanwala, Chairman MULK Holdings Nawab Shaji Ul Mulk , and Founder & CEO IPG Group Anil Mohan followed by the national anthem of Sri Lanka.
The significance of such a tournament kissing the shores of Sri Lanka was indeed heightened by the opening keynote address by SLCs Tournament Director Samantha Dodanwala followed by that of the franchise owner Nawab Shaji Ul Mulk who extolled the value input of such a fast fad to furthering Sri Lankan Cricket intermingled under the competitive umbrella of local and foreign players.
In the team walkouts, the ceremonial entrance of Jaffna Titans and Hambantota Bangla Tigers joining alongside match officials took pride of place.
