SRI LANKA CRICKET MAJOR LEAGUE TOURNAMENT

Bloomfield C& AC crushed Badureliya SC by an innings and 47 runs yesterday at their home grounds to set up a final versus NCC in the Sri Lanka Cricket Major League Tournament.
The resounding win revolved around playmakers Ron Chandraguptha who struck 119 off 126 balls inclusive of 11 boundaries and 2 sixes and Ravindu Fernando 114 off 90 powered by 7 over the top and similar number of boundaries while Jeffrey Vandersay ran through the Badureliya batting with a haul of 6 wickets for 66 runs.
Bloomfield ran up 365 for 3 declared. Badureliya was bundled out for 87 batting first and 231 in the second innings. Gihan Koralage scored a back to the ball unbeaten 69 for Badureliya.
The Bloomfield vs NCC final will take place from March 5 to 8 at the R. Premadasa International Cricket Stadium.
The other three week-end matches ended in no results between Chilaw Marians and Colts CC, Panadura SC and Ace Capital CC and Negombo CC and Ragama CC.
