Moors SC and Panadura SC entered the semi-finals of the Sri Lanka Cricket Major Clubs T20 Cricket Tournament winning their respective quarter-final matches yesterday against Bloomfield and Colts CC.

Moors SC ran up 156 runs for 7 wickets in 20 overs and polished off Bloomfield for 115 in 17.3 overs with only Ron Chandraguptastarring in a lone effort 74 off 55 balls striking 6 fours and 3 sixes at the P. Saravanamuththu International Stadium.

Moors Praveen Jayawickrama claimed 3 wickets for 21 runs, and skipper Ramesh Mendis 2 for 14.
Moors innings revolved around knocks of 26 each by the trio of Lasith Abeyratne, Ramesh Mendis and Shehan Fernando followed by Sadeera Samarawickrama 24.

Meanwhile, Panadura SC ousted Colts CC by 34 runs on a score of 133 for 8 off 20 overs, bundling out Colts for 99 in 16.4 overs with Sahan Mihira and Vishen Halambage claiming 4 wickets each.at the CCC Grounds.

Panadura’s top scorer was Nimesh Vimukthi with 29 runs off 25 balls, and Nisala Tharaka 23 off 19.
Colts CC captain Dunith Wellalage took 3 wickets for 10 runs.

Colts CC,innings revolved around top scorer Sangeeth Cooray 32 runs off 28 balls, Hiruna Gallage 20 and Dunith Wellalage run a ball 17.
