Kamil Mishara struck a fighting a fighting 65 off 79 hitting 7 boundaries as Sri Lanka A went down to Australia A in the opening unofficial ODI by 198 runs at Darwin on Friday July 4.
Only two other Lankan batsmen reached double figures were Pavan Rathnayake 28 off 37 with 2 boundaries and Sonal Dinusha 10 off 32.
After being put in to bat, Australia A ran up 324 for 4 wickets and bowled out Sri Lanka A for 134 in 35.4 overs. Test discard opener Nathan McSweeney struck a blazing unbeaten 85 inclusive of 9 boundaries and a six for Australia A.
Australia’s Sam Elliott was outstanding with the ball claiming 5 for 14 and Billy Stanlake 3 for 18.
