The semi-final match between Colombo South and Galle in the Sri Lanka Youth League 50 Overs Limited Overs Tournament was abandoned due to rain with Colombo South having rattled up 252 and Galle on 57 for the  loss of 1 wicket after 6.1 overs at the Balagalla Stadium.

However, despite the no decision, Colombo South made it to the finals by virtue of being the second best placed next to meeting Colombo North in tomorrow’s final at the Galle International Cricket Stadium.

In that dampening however, the game did serve well for Colombo South who literally got good batting practice with Himaru Deshan in fine fettle top scoring with an unbeaten 66 and Hirun Matheesha 51 followed by Stevon Peiris unbeaten on 46, Rusandu Silva 22 and Seeman Anuhas 18.
