Moratuwa SC was in box seat control of their game against Chilaw Marians having amassed 331 and having the Marians on their knees following on 47 for 1 wicket having been dismissed for 208 in their first innings in the Sri Lanka Cricket Under23 Emerging Clubs 2-day Tournament at the Moratuwa Stadium yesterday.
The highlight of the day’s play was the superb century by Isulu Induwara 106 off 272 balls with 6 boundaries and a six and Sahan Kaushalya 97 off 120 balls.
Moratuwa SCs wrecker with the ball was Ushan Sathsara with outstanding figures of 5 wickets for 45 runs in running through the Chilaw Marians in the first innings.
