Ace Capital CC trounced BRC by an innings and 92 runs with Wanuja Sahan claiming a match bag of 8 wickets and Traveen Matthew a second innings haul of 6 wickets in bundling out BRC for 147 snd 116 in their Sri Lanka Cricket Emerging Under 23 Club 2-day Tournament fixture played at Bloomfield Grounds, Reid Avenue yesterday.

Ace Capital’s 411 for 6 declared total was highlighted by wicket keeper batsman Ranesh Silva’s 111 off 84 balls while BRC were all out for 147 and in their follow on once again they were restricted for 116. Leg spinner Wanuja Sahan had figures of 6 for 70 and 2 for 55.

Meanwhile. NCC skipper Jeewaka Sashin struck 158 off 246 balls with 11 fours and a six in 419 for 8 declared while Moratuwa SC were in trouble all out 189 and saved by time 18 for no loss in their drawn encounter at the De Soysa Stadium, Moratuwa..
