Sri Lanka Cricket’s top drawer junior cricket cradle annual 2025 tournament reached s pitch in a dramatic one wicket finish by Colombo North over Colombo South in their fixture played at Colombo University grounds on Tuesday.
Colombo North though were challenged by their Southern opponents to the very hilt with Lithium Devasurendra reaping l4 wickets for 30 runs as they scraped through by a single wicket.
The thriller saw Colombo South, taking first lease total 119 off 46.3 overs with Colombo North’s Thisanga Perera claiming 3 wickets for 29 runs and two each by Desindu Dinsara and Mishika Abeywardena.
Only Hamid Afdhal topped 20 as Colombo North’s bowlers set up victory in a swift stride.
