SSC scored an imposing 311 for 8 wickets against Ace Capital on the opening day of their Sri Lanka Cricket Major League 3-day Tournament at the SSC Grounds yesterday. with Vinuka Ranasingghe 76 off 144 balls with 11 boundaries and Lahiru Udara 70 off 83 with 12 to the ropes as well as Chamika Karunaratne 52 off 56 (5xx4, 1×6 leading the way.
Wanuja Sahan 3 for 36 and Rohan Jayatissa 3 for 88 were the main wicket takers for Ace Capital CC; Madushka 75 n.o. in CCCs 155/4 vs Galle CC
Meanwhile, Nishan Madushka struck a composed unbeaten 75 off 124 balls inclusive of 8 boundaries in CCCs 156 for 4 against Galle CC in their fixture on the opening day at the Galle International Cricket Grounds.
