Dilshan Soysa struck a match winning 145 off 250 balls with 14 boundaries as Badureliya Sports Club trounced Nugegoda Sports & Welfare Club by 9 wickets on a massive score of 417 in their SLC Major League match played at Kurunegala which had the distinction of being the only club to record an outright victory of the week’s matches i n what was the only side to secure an outright win during the opening week.

Driving home the victory was Buddika Sanjeewa with a first innings 5 for 54 haul and 2 for 84 and as much veteran spinner Malinda Pushpakumara with for 80 haul while Keshara Nuwantha was on target with a second innings haul of 4 for 58.

Nugegoda’s Akram Muthalib was a valiant loser scoring half centuries in the game following his first innings 56 with another polished 70 in time as Nugegoda was dismissed for 189 and 243.
