
Australia’s Alyssa Healy set up a new world record with the highest score in women’s T20s with 61-ball unbeaten 148 in beating their Sri Lankan counterparts by a massive 132-run margin at the North Sydney Oval yesterday. Healy’s century came off only 46 deliveries which was the second-fastest in women’s T20s. Her knock contained 19 boundaries and seven sixes as Australia made 226 for 2 in 50 overs. It equaled their highest total in T20s.
Sri Lanka could muster just 94 for 7. Australia won the series 3-0.
