Sri Lanka T20 captain Chamari Atapattu celebrated her call up to play in the WBBL in style scoring 95 off just 47 balls in Dambulla beating Colombo by 46 runs yesterday in a Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) Women’s T20 Super Provincial Tournament 2019 match at the SSC.

Atapattu chipped in with an all-round performance. Having enabled Dambulla  post 182 for 3 in their allotted 19 overs in the rain affected match, she went on to claim 2 wickets for 17 runs as Colombo were dismissed for 136 in 18.4 overs. Shashikala Siriwardena chipped in with 2 for 24 and Sugandika Kumari 2/25. Top scorer for Colombo was Dilani Manodara with a well compiled 52 followed by Ama Kanchana’s
