Sri Lanka Women’s team skipper Chamari Atapattu struck her second half century a 57-ball cameo filled with 8 fours and 3 sixes in crushing Kenya by 9 wickets in a Commonwealth Games Women’s Qualifying round T20 match in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on Thursday. (2) Having reduced Kenya to 87 for 6 in 20 overs, Sri Lanka made light of the target with Atapattu on the rampage in her 29-ball knock in reaching 89 for 1 off 9.3 overs. She shared in a 83-run partnership for the first wicket with Vishmi Gunaratne who made 36 off 26 inclusive of 3 boundaries.
