WOMEN’S U19 TRI NATION TOURNEY IN SRI LANKA

A buoyed unbeaten Sri Lanka Women from their two previous games against Australia and England, will face England Women for the second time today in the mega Under 19 Tri Nation T-20 Tournament today at the Mahinda Rajapaksa International Cricket Stadium Hambantota at 2 pm.

The Lankan lasses carry the edge of having defeated their Australian counterparts by a close seven runs in the opening game at the same venue as well as getting the better of England by six runs last Saturday.

Sri Lanka women’s skipper Manudi Nanayakkara expressed optimism that her side would carry their unbeaten advantage to going past England today as well.

Skipper Manudi Nanayakkara from Princess of Wales packs all round shine in going for a repeat performance against the English.
