Nuwanidu Fernando was on song striking an unbeaten 70 off 52 balls and Charith Asalanka 59 off 4 in SLC Greys pulling off a comprehensi 24-run win over SLC Blues the second fixture of the 2025 Sri Lanka Cricket T20 League Tournament at the SSC Grounds.

Having run up 192 for 4 wickets with Lahiru Udara also joining the party with a cameo 41 off 24 piercing the boundary on 7 occasions, SLC Greys restricted the Blues to 168 for 8 off 20 with Eshan Malinga claiming 4 wickets for 42 and Binaural Fernando 3 for 3 for 36.

The Blues top scorer was opening batsman Vishen Halambage with 35 off 18 balls hitting 3 over the top and equal number of boundaries. Pathum Nissanka made 20.
The second highest scorer was Kusal Janith Perera with 33 off 24 with 3 boundaries and six followed by Dasun Shanaka 32 off 23 with 3 boundaries and a six.
