SLC Greys defeated SLC Blues by six wickets with 17 balls to spare in a high scoring one for one affair of the fifth match at the SSC Grounds to set up a final against SLC Greens today in the mega 2025 Sri Lanka Cricket T20 League Tournament at the same venue.

The Blues openers Vishen Halambage 32 off 25 with 3 sixes and Pathum Nissanka 30 off 15 with 3 to the ropes and 2 over the top, set the tempo by a 60 run stand in this neck to neck contest with Ravindu Fernando 41 off 24 with 5 boundaries and a six, and former Sri Lanka white ball captain Dasun Shanaka exploding 35 off 15 with 3 to the ropes and 2 to the stands and Nishan Madushka 23.

The Greys openers matched it with Dinesh Chandimal speeding to 45 off 25 with 5 boundaries and 2 over the top and Niroshan Dickwella 21 off 11 with 3 boundaries and a six.
