Sri Lanka’s Inoka Ranaweera was placed 16th in the 2025 ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup Bowling Rankings to date having claimed 7 wickets at a cost of 145 runs from six matches in four innings.
The 39 year old left arm slow orthodox bowler led quite a reputed field in a tournament where a good number of world cup matches played in Sri Lanka which were rain abandoned.
A native hailing from Down South Galle, Ranaweera was discovered to the game from Prajapathi Mahs Vidyalaya where she made a name for herself.
Having made her international debut in 2012, inoka has claimed 87 ODI wickets from 86 appearances for Sri Lanka.
