New Zealand A Women came from behind for a consolation 5 wicket win over Sri Lanka A Women with seven balls to spare having surrendered the 3 match T20 series having lost the first two at the Rangiri Dambulla International Cricket Stadium yesterday.
In a low scoring game the Kiwi lasses overhauled the Lankans 78 off 16.5 overs reaching 79 for 5 off 18.5 overs with Prue Catton leading the with an unbeaten 30 off 38 balls inclusive of 3 boundaries.

Sri Lanka Women folded up for 78 in 16.5 overs against the guile of Jess Watkin who claimed 4 wickets conceding just 4 runs well backed by Kayley Knight’s 2 for 5 with only five Lankan batters reaching double figures in Skipper Sathya Sandeepani 16, Sanjana Kavindi and Sumudu Nisansala 15 each, Piumi Wathsala 12 and Rashika Sewwandi 11.
